Our History

Paradigm Education Centre was founded in 2009 by Mrs Sushie Pillay with just five learners and only one other staff member. The heart and vision for the school were to provide international standard Christian education to a community who may not have had the means to experience. Funded and supported by Paradigm Group run by Mr Steven Pillay, Paradigm Education Centre grew, from humble beginnings to a flourishing educational institution. In 2021, Ms Lauren Anderson joined the school as Principal and in 2025 the first class of grade 12 learners graduated.

At Paradigm Education Centre we make use of internationally accredited curriculum, SwitchedOn Education.

SwitchedOn Education is accredited by the Cognia Global Accreditation Commission, a globally recognized mark of quality and excellence in education. This accreditation confirms that SwitchedOn meets rigorous international standards focused on effective leadership, equitable resources, and engaging learning environments where students can flourish.

To earn and maintain Cognia accreditation, schools undergo thorough internal and external evaluations and commit to continuous improvement. Accreditation is awarded for a six-year term to institutions that meet Cognia’s high performance standards.
